The Story
Chris Matthews, known as Lethal Shooter, turned a journeyman basketball career into a business as one of the most sought after shooting coaches in professional basketball.
The Washington, DC native attended National Christian Academy alongside Kevin Durant and played college ball at Washington State and St. Bonaventure, where he set a school record with 101 three pointers in his final season while averaging 3.26 made threes per game to rank seventh among NCAA players.
He chased the pro game through Mexico, Russia, Bolivia, and China until injuries, including a collapsed lung, ended his playing days in 2016.
A summer 2016 workout in Paris with NBA player Kevin Séraphin changed everything when Séraphin posted about it online, drawing interest from Dwight Howard and other NBA players.
His client list now spans NBA stars like Anthony Davis, Domantas Sabonis, and Michael Porter Jr. along with celebrities including Drake, Bad Bunny, Jamie Foxx, and Mark Cuban.
