What We Correct
We correct any error of fact in a Trill News feature: a wrong name, date, figure, quotation or attribution. We also fix headlines that misrepresent the story underneath them. Corrections are made to the article itself rather than quietly deleted.
Linked Headlines
Most of what you see on Trill News is a link to another publisher's reporting. We cannot correct someone else's article, and we do not rewrite their headlines, beyond removing the publisher name that aggregators append to them. If a linked story is wrong, the publisher is the right place to raise it. What we can do is stop linking to a source that is repeatedly unreliable, so tell us anyway — that is how sources reach our blocklist.
