In July 2026 the league suspended Arizona Cardinals scouting director Ryan Gold indefinitely for leaking nonpublic 2026 draft information and betting parlays on NFL and college games, and Massachusetts regulators have opened a second probe, per ESPN. Gold's lawyer calls the parlays $10 weekly bets his wife placed with school friends; his appeal hearing is set for September 23.
